Critical missions:
The Sales & Channel Manager (SCM) is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing CMP sales in their assigned territories. This responsibility is divided into two equally important activity areas. In the first core activity, the SCM works across multiple markets and in multiple industry sectors to sell SHOWCASE Exhibit Subscription Packages and Sponsorship packages to various stakeholders in industry as well as government, NGO and other entities as required.The SCM is equally responsible for on-boarding and managing OEI’s channel partners who resell SHOWCASE products and services in their assigned territories and/or markets. This includes training and managing the Partners in the use of OEI’s Partner Portal and other CRM or IT systems that the company may use to effectively manage the channel sales activities. *The Sales & Channel Manager currently reports directly to the CMP Program Manager, and eventually will report to the company’s Sales Director once that position has been filled.

The CMP MarCom Manager (CMM) is responsible for the market presence and public-facing communications for the assigned OEI online Venues. The CMM is also responsible for creating and executing targeted VISPROM campaigns through mass mailing, social media, Exhibitor gamification and other campaigns developed in concert with Program and Venue Management.
Subject matter expertise: the CMM uses their knowledge of the industry sectors served by the Venue(s) to assure the best coverage and exposure in the market, as well as to craft the most effective communications within the media environment that serves those industries. The CMM must work closely with the MarCom teams of our Sales Partners to develop barter agreements, shared resources, and other collaborative projects for mutual benefit. These also include contra projects and agreements with Media Partners serving the targeted industries of the assigned Venue(s).Internally, the CMM works with the Venue Managers and Account Managers to maintain the Media Center and the Forum in the assigned Venue(s), and to assure fresh content is added and promoted in a timely fashion.

The Platform QA & Support Manager (QSM) is a “behind the scenes” non-customer facing role that acts to support the other functional areas of the OEI organization. The QSM operates in two primary areas of activity: quality assurance of the platform and its content and support of Users from a technical platform perspective. Firstly, the QSM is responsible for the proactive troubleshooting and fault remediation of the CMP from a backend functional perspective, as well as functional issues pertaining to individual Exhibits, Sessions and other CMP content. The QSM will implement fixes where possible and report the other problems and issues to the Venue Manager, CMP Program Manager, Account Manager, Marcom, Sales or other management stakeholders as appropriate. The QSM will then coordinate the remediation process and ensure timely resolution to all reported issues.Secondly, the QSM also serves as the main point of contact for Users who are experiencing problems on the CMP, or who wish to report abuse (e.g., spamming) or other violations of the SHOWCASE Terms of Service.The CMP Account Manager reports operationally to the Venue Managers with a through line to the CMP Program Manager.

The CMP Venue Manager (CVM) is responsible for overseeing the successful deployment, maintenance, and operation of the assigned Venue(s).To achieve mission success, the CVM must work closely with the Venue Staff who are building, managing, and supporting the Exhibits, the Exhibitors, Sponsors, Forum events and other elements of the Venue.In addition, the Venue Manager works directly with the Marcom Manager(s) assigned to the Venue(s).Subject matter expertise: the CVM is the one who must possess substantial knowledge of the industry sectors served by the Venue(s) they manage, and must maintain a good overview of the market landscape relevant to their assigned Venue(s).The CMP Venue Manager reports operationally to the CMP Program Manager and manages the Account Managers QA & Support Managers assigned to the Venue(s). The CVM also works with Sales where appropriate.
